Based on the decision made by High commission on economic chaired by H.E President Hamid Karzai on 8/3/1391 (Dec, 2012), the Ministry of Commerce and industry should transfer all industrial parks to the Afghanistan Investment Support Agency (AISA) within two consecutive months.
The stated decision has been confirmed by the members of the cabinet in their meeting dated 8/8/1391.
The actual transfer is underway in Kabul Pul-e-Charkhi and all other industrial park in country.
The currently developed industrial parks of include:
Bagrami Industrial Park, (9.0ha)- Kabul.
Gorimar Industrial Park (15.0ha) – Balkh.
Shorandam Industrial Park (15.0 ha) - Kandahar.
Hisar-e-Shahi Industrial Park (206 ha) - Ningarhar.
Bost Agricultural Business Park (32 ha) - Helmand.
The ongoing industrial park development projects with total cost of USD8.6 million from AISA budget are:
Rehabilitation of 7km internal roads of Pul-e-Charkhi Industrial park in Kabul.
Extension of 22km, 20KV power transmission line to Gorimar IP in Balkh.
Internal power distribution and street lighting for Hesar-e-Shahi industrial park in Ningarhar.
Construction of waste water treatment & solid waste land fill site for Hesar-e-Shahi industrial park.
Installation of 4MW diesel generator power plant for Hesar-e-Shahi industrial park.
Construction of Kamari industrial park boundary wall-Kabul.
