B. Property Legislation: Land, Water, Agriculture and Environment
Because of the extensive and varied legislation affecting land in Afghanistan, and the enduring impact this type of legislation - whether still in force or long since repealed - has on rights and claims concerning property rights, all available enacted legislation, including laws, regulations, decrees and other legislative material are compiled together in the following catalogue of materials affecting land issues, as a single integrated database including repealed materials. The Civil Code, which is classified here as a property law, since it contain extensive provisions on property. E.g. Articles. 484-90 (rights in property), 2340-66 (easement), 2386-2415 (priorities). Property tax laws are catalogued here as well as in Part A. Chapter 3.
