The Afghanistan Investment Support Agency is grateful to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for financing a 7.2 km of paved road project in phase II of the Industrial Park of Hissar-e-Shahi, Ningarhar Province. In the form of a grant, the USAID provided 2 million USD for this purpose. The project works included sub-grade, sub-base, aggregate base course, asphalt wearing course, line marking and road signs. The project was successfully implemented by the Development Alternatives Inc. (DAI), which was started on April 12, 2009 and was handed over to AISA on September 15, 2009.
